Podcasting is an interactive way to get one’s knowledge, thoughts and information across to a platform of different individuals. It is a fun experience but it can also be very difficult and time consuming for a beginner, like myself. However, I enjoyed the process of learning to create a podcast for my media production course. St. Mary’s music students and Robert Cruhm presents the String Ensemble Recital for students and faculty members. The recital occurred on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. in Treadway hall. The program included a variety of different ensembles by different composers. The students passion and dedication for each piece that was played was prevalent throughout the recital hall. The program ended with the audience applauding the students efforts.
Isac Perez is a political science and criminal justice double major at St. Mary’s University. Isac attributes his baking skills to his mother and grandmothers who have taught him to cook and bake. In the video, Isac is baking a delicious strawberry cheesecake for his friends.
- 1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust
- 2 1/2 8 oz cream cheese packages
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 3/4 condensed milk
- 2 cups of cut strawberries
Pre-heat oven to 350F. Once oven is ready place pre-made pie crust into the oven for 5-7 minutes. In a large bowl add 2.5 softened cream cheese blocks, 2 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract, 3/4 condensed milk and blend until the mixture has a thick and smooth consistency. Next, pour your mixture into the pie crust and position back into the oven for 40-60 minutes or until baked. Next, place strawberries on cheesecake and set the cheesecake in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours. Enjoy!
